A tale by Marina Morbiducci ( Associate professor in English Language and Translation, Sapienza University ), published by Liberilibri ed., 2011

Marina, My Galactic Agent wrote everything in one sitting and sent it to me without any explanations. However, I understood precisely what needed to be done. Our communication is often based on our mutual intent to convey the message. For instance, when she conveys a feeling or thought with strong intention in Rome, I receive it in Namibia. It's as straightforward as that. It has always been this way, even since my childhood.

When my father asked Marina about her career aspirations, after her outstanding academic achievements, she confessed that, despite her career success, her dream was to write fairytales. I was around 10 years old at the time and was convinced that I would become a veterinarian by her age. More than 40 years later, she recounted the story to me, and as she reflected on that day, she realized she had entirely forgotten her childhood dream.

The narrative of L'Uomo dalle Orecchie a punta e' diventato Buono  revolves around a grumpy, reclusive man who finds solace in nature and introspection, shunned by society until a magical encounter unveils his inner light. This character was inspired by the man who brought my Agent and I together, the thought of whom we will always keep alive, my dad. The story also features two sisters resembling my own sister and me. The common thread among these characters? Nature! Trees, water, animals, and stars take center stage. I'm sure that now you get why I refer to Marina as My Agent, my agent for the Galaxy :-)
